Pairwise comparisons indicate a significant difference between treatments in Willow Warblers (two‐sample t ‐test, t 24 = −6.08, p < .001) and nearly significant in Lesser Whitethroats (t 8 = −2.05, p = .07), but not significant in the other species (Common Chiffchaff: t 8 = −0.84, p = 0.42; European Robin: t 14 = −1.37, p = .19; Blue Tit: t 10 = −0.71, p = .49). 4.
