CONCLUSIONS Nontubercular respiratory disease patients suffer from poor periodontal health status indicated by greater mean PI (moderately significant) and significantly higher mean CALs than PD patients representing a past episode of periodontitis that had caused loss of CALs and consequently gingival recession in such patients.
