Our results showed that the live birth rate of single poor-quality D5 blastocysts was higher than that of single high-quality D6 blastocysts, but the difference did not reach statistical significance for patients aged < 35 years (35.48% vs. 31.13%), and the same trend was observed for ≥ 35-year-old patients (29.09% vs. 21.28%).
