Among the BRAF mutated melanoma cell lines, A2058 (BRAF V600E /TP53 V274F /TP63 R379C ), Mel624(BRAF V600E /TP53 C275W ) and Malme3M-R(BRAF V600E ), which are resistant to anti-BRAF targeted therapy, showed a trend towards a higher quantity of eIF4E-eIF4G complexes, although it was not statistically significant compared to those in BRAF mutated melanoma cells such as A375 (BRAF V600E /CDKN2A E61Ter ), Malme3M-S and SKMEL-28(BRAF V600E /CDK4 R24C /EGFR P753S /PTEN T167A ).
