In clusters that received community-wide intensive anthelminthic treatment with quarterly single-dose praziquantel and triple-dose albendazole, the mean LDL increased after 4 years of follow-up, as compared to the mean LDL in communities that received single-dose anthelmintic treatment, which was a significant trend (2.86 vs 2.60 mmol/L; adjusted mean difference, 0.26 [95% CI, −0.03 to 0.56]; P = .08).
