Among the responders, the AC heterozygous patients showed a trend towards a reverse association with a response to the therapy with TNF-α inhibitors (OR = 0.52, 95% CI 0.21–1.32, p = 0.17) whereas the CC homozygous cases showed a 12-fold reduced chance of responding to therapy compared with AA homozygotes (OR = 0.082, 95% CI 0.009–0.78, p = 0.029) ( Figure 1 ).
