While both mild (MET-min/wk < 1000) and moderate-to-intense (MET-min/wk ≥ 1000) physical activity were associated with a reduced risk of dementia, regardless of the pre-stroke physical activity status, moderate-to-intense physical activity showed a trend of a reduced risk of dementia.
