While our list of variants is not necessarily comprehensive, there is an interesting trend in that nearly all common GOF variants in our list are concentrated toward the 3′-end of the coding region of the LPL gene, with most located in exons 9 and 10, the latter of which encodes the 3′ UTR ( Figure 13 and Supplementary Table S3 ).
