The forecasting principle of the GM (1, 1) model is as follows: A set of new data series with an obvious trend is generated by summing up a certain data series, a model is built to predict the growth trend of the new data series, the original data series is restored by reverse calculation with the method of reduction, and then the prediction result is obtained.
Conditional weighted residuals (CWRES) had a better fit in the final model compared to the performance of the base model, but it still had an obvious trend, suggesting that there may be important factors that are not found to affect the accuracy of the model, and most value of CWRES was between ± 2 with few outliers (Fig. 2 ).
When comparing the differences in minimum and maximum values between groups of groups of engineering geological zones with pre-Quaternary geological structure (predominantly rock and weathered rock masses and their eluvia) and differences in minimum and maximum values of groups of engineering geological zones with Quaternary unconsolidated sediments (soil masses), an obvious trend is observed.
The principal findings of this analysis were as follows: (1) there was an obvious trend of increased NLR levels in the vulnerable carotid plaque group compared to other groups, (2) NLR levels were positively correlated with the degree of carotid plaque vulnerability, and the stable carotid plaque was more likely to shift to vulnerable carotid plaque with the rise of NLR, and (3) elevated NLR significantly portended an increased risk of vulnerable carotid plaque in AIS patients, and the effect remained after adjusting the classical atherosclerotic risk factors, such as age, sex, diabetes, and blood pressure.
