The sacral group were strongly associated with an increased risk of in-hospital mortality (aOR 3.15, 95% CI: 1.75–5.69, p < 0.001), while the thoraco-lumbar region showed a trend toward higher mortality risk, but this did not reach statistical significance (aOR 2.62, 95% CI: 0.97–7.11, p = 0.059).
