Based on the pathological characteristics of the coagulation-fibrinolytic system imbalance in COPD patients, the comprehensive evidence-based evidence suggested that the modulatory effect of Salvia divinorum polyphenols intervention on D-D indexes was not only statistically highly significant (P<0.001), but also the magnitude of the effect (WMD=-0.43 μg/L) exceeded the criterion of the smallest clinically important difference in the field of thrombosis, suggesting that the intervention might modulate the activity of the fibrinolytic system bypathway to improve hypercoagulability in COPD patients, with clear clinical translational value. 3.6.4.
