Comparing the two groups, HPV-positive women tended to be slightly younger (mean 28.4 vs 30.1 years) and more likely nulliparous (59% vs 46%) than HPV-negative women, but these differences did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.08 and P = 0.15, respectively).
