TUG motor dual task (MDT) speed improved modestly (SMD = 0.42, 95% CI [0.02, 0.83], p = 0.04, I 2 = 34%), and CMDT speed showed a strong trend (SMD = −0.49, p = 0.09), only significant in stroke (SMD = −1.42, p = 0.002).
While the overall effect on the primary motor outcome, TUG CMDT speed, showed a trend toward benefit (SMD = −0.49, p = 0.09), this finding was primarily driven by the robust and highly significant improvement observed in the stroke subgroup (SMD = −1.42, p = 0.002).
