Among adults aged 20–39 years, the glycemic profile improved substantially, marked by a significant increase in normoglycemia (from 69.3% to 75.2%, p < 0.001) and notable reductions in both prediabetes (from 27.1% to 22.0%, p = 0.003) and type 2 diabetes (from 3.6% to 2.8%, p = 0.306), though the latter did not reach statistical significance (Fig. 1 D).
