The oral semaglutide group showed a trend of greater reduction in HbA1c for patients aged ≥ 65 years at 6 months, although the difference did not reach statistical significance (≥65 years; −0.80 ± 0.15%; <65 years; −1.22 ± 0.26%; P = 0.18; Figure 4a ).
