Seizure severity scores were higher in the music group ( n = 7, mean rank = 8.36) compared to the control group ( n = 6, mean rank = 5.42); however, this difference did not reach statistical significance (Mann-Whitney U = 11.5, Z = −1.39, p = 0.164, r = −0.39, 95% CI: [–0.77, 0.21]) ( Fig. 5 ).
