When metabolic signatures were categorized into three groups (Low, Intermediate, high exposure), we found that metabolic signatures associated with green space and natural environment were generally inversely related to depression risk, whereas these linked to the APS were positively related; however, these associations did not reach statistical significance in the fully adjusted model.
