Further subgroup analyses revealed that, regarding assessment tools, studies using the MoCA demonstrated a significant therapeutic effect (MD = 1.622, 95%CI: 0.566–2.679; I 2 = 15.5%), whereas the MMSE subgroup (comprising four studies) showed a trend favoring the intervention but did not reach statistical significance (MD = 1.541, 95%CI: −1.486–4.568; I 2 = 90.1%).
