Higher amyloid PET SUVR showed a trend toward association with lower plasma Aβ42 levels (standardized β = −0.15, 95% CI [−0.31, 0.01], p = 0.074) (Figure 3A ) and was significantly associated with higher pTau181 (standardized β = 0.26, 95% CI [0.10, 0.42], p = 0.001) (Figure 3B ).
Higher tau PET SUVR was significantly associated with older age (standardized β = 0.26, 95% CI [0.08, 0.43], p = 0.005), while associations with sex, APOE ε4 status, and cognitive group did not reach statistical significance (Table 3 A ). 3.5 Individual plasma biomarkers and tau PET In linear regression involving 144 participants, tau PET SUVR values were regressed individually on plasma biomarkers while adjusting for age, sex, APOE ε4 status, and cognitive group.
