This approach increased the AUC to 0.822 (95% CI: 0.744–0.899) in the training cohort and 0.720 (95% CI: 0.555–0.865) in the validation cohort compared to the radiomics-only model, although the improvements did not reach statistical significance (P=0.27 and P=0.51, respectively) ( Figure 3 and Table 2 ).

While the addition of lesion location to the radiomics model did not result in statistically significant improvements, it showed a trend toward increased diagnostic accuracy (AUC of 0.822 in the training cohort and 0.720 in the validation cohort), suggesting that combining radiomics with conventional imaging findings may provide incremental benefit.
