In our cohort, a numerical trend toward higher-grade tumors was observed in HER2-positive patients; however, this difference did not reach statistical significance. Moreover, correlation analyses did not demonstrate a significant association between HER2 status and conventional histopathological features associated with tumor aggressiveness, including tumor grade, lymphovascular invasion, perineural invasion, and histological subtype.
Baseline characteristics were generally comparable; however, HER2-positive patients showed a trend toward higher-grade tumors and were significantly less likely to receive anti-EGFR therapy.
