In the analysis of normally distributed variables (SP, GAD, total anxiety, and total internalization), all inter-subdimension correlations were positive, strong, and highly significant (ρ between 0.587 and 0.979; p < 0.001), with the near-perfect relationship between total anxiety and total internalization standing out (ρ = 0.979, expected given their overlapping composition).
Association Between Sex and RCADS Dimensions The Chi-square test between sex and the two higher-order dimensions did not reach statistical significance (total anxiety: χ 2 = 8.231, df = 4, p = 0.083; total internalization: χ 2 = 7.645, df = 4, p = 0.106), although effect sizes (V = 0.229 and V = 0.220, respectively) approached the conventional small-to-moderate effect threshold ( Cohen, 1988 ), suggesting that the reduced sample size may have compromised statistical power to detect these differences.
The undisclosed subgroup showed a trend toward the normal range in total internalization (Δ = +40.0 pp), although the extreme small size of this subgroup (n = 4 at T2) prevents any statistical interpretation of this result.
