An intronic variant of POLR1C – a gene that is associated with Treacher Collins Syndrome, sensorineural hearing loss 22 and systolic BP 44 – POLR1C *rs186798404 was the only SNP that had a significant effect in the AFR meta-analysis, though it may be a false positive (there are no significant or close-to-significant high LD SNPs).
