Preliminary analyses of fat pad weights also accounted for weight at sacrifice, although this factor was dropped from the operational model because it did not reach statistical significance when compared with age at sacrifice.
The remaining growth traits (2WK, 3WK, and 6WK) had similar P -value profiles but failed to reach statistical significance after correcting for multiple testing.
