The sentences
The subgroup of AAV9-mTERT treated mice that maintained or decreased the percentage of short telomeres also showed an apparent trend to survive longer than those that increased percentage of short telomeres, in both age groups (Supporting Information Fig S7F ), suggesting that rescue of short telomeres is associated with increased longevity.
