Exposure to MMC led to a statistically significant increase in the 8-oxodG levels in the PFC tissues of male mice (p=0.016), while the PFCs of MMC-exposed female mice showed a strong trend towards an increase in 8-oxodG levels, but the difference did not reach statistical significance (p=0.146) (Figure 3 A ).
