28 Although we confirmed that the preoperative Identification score was lower in the group with higher CT‐scores (Lund‐Mackay score >12), the improvement rates after 6 months were almost identical in both groups (+2 points) whereas, in the Minwegen study, the patients with Lund‐Mackay scores ≤7 showed a trend towards decreased values (‐0.82 points on the 12‐item Sniffin' Sticks identification test).

The sentences
Even if the same limits in CT‐scores are used, we still see a clear trend towards improved olfactory scores (+3.5 at V3), although only the data of four patients are suitable.
