After adjusting for potential confounders, the multivariate-adjusted HRs associated with low levels of physical activity were 1.34 (95% CI 1.01–1.78) for 1–2 h of daily household activities per week and 1.85 (95% CI 1.01–3.38) for less than 1 h per week, compared to subjects engaging in the highest level of daily household activities, with a significant trend ( p value = 0.03).
