Quantitative difference in GCSF-, MCP-1-, TPO- or IL-6-expression showed a trend towards a change in values, however did not reach statistical significance. hCG levels, were significantly decreased in patients with miscarriage compared to those with ongoing pregnancy (151.75 ± 25.29 IU/l vs. 351.27 ± 111.02 IU/l, p < 0.05) However, they were within normal limits and therefore not predictive for pregnancy outcome.
