In line with previous research, age at the time of breast cancer diagnosis was found to show a strong trend for predicting emotional vulnerability in women, with a younger age inferring higher levels of emotional vulnerability.
We found that age at diagnosis showed a trend towards being a significant predictor of emotional vulnerability, while both the grade of breast cancer and the time since diagnosis significantly predicted women’s perceived quality of life.
