Compared with level 0, level III was linked to a lesser risk of ischemic stroke (0.56, 0.34–0.91; p = 0.018) and MVEs (0.72, 0.52–0.98; p = 0.038), but showed a trend toward a lower risk of all-cause death after multivariable adjustment.
