Partial least squares (PLS) logistic regression analysis showed significant separation between pre‐ and post‐CPAP levels ( p < .002) when all analytes were used, and a strong trend when only RAS‐associated analytes were used ( p = .05).
Furthermore, the small sample size and very large number of measured analytes preclude our ability to identify a specific analyte as a single biomarker of kidney injury; while several analytes had significant correlations between pre‐ and post‐CPAP values and the change in RPF before and after CPAP, none approached significance after adjusting for multiple testing.
