When cytochalasin D was added to inhibit platelet activity, a significant trend toward hypercoagulability was again evident in the KS group compared to controls in terms of greater MCF ( P < .001) and α angle ( P < .001) (see Fig. 3 ).
When patients were divided according to testosterone treatment (yes or not) and age range (≤ 29 years, 30-49 years, ≥ 50 years), younger patients on testosterone treatment showed lower thrombin generation and fibrinogen concentrations than untreated ones, but these differences did not reach statistical significance (see Fig. 4 ).
