Similarly, we found that pretreatment of autophagy activator RAP significantly reduced the phagocytic activity of RAW264.7 cells compared to untreated cells, whereas the autophagy inhibitor CQ-pretreated RAW264.7 cells showed a trend of increase in phagocytosis but did not reach statistical significance compared to untreated cells during of P. aeruginosa infections ( Figure 2A ).
