A negative trend in PET was found at 23 stations (41.1%); the trend was statistically significant at eight stations (14.3%) at a 95% confidence level.
In the SC-CQ region, on a seasonal scale, more sites showed an increasing trend than a decreasing trend, except in summer, which confirmed the existence of the evaporation paradox generally in the months of summer.
