These patients showed a trend towards more vessel inflammation in the muscle biopsy (10% vs 1%, P = 0.07), less myalgia (33% vs 54%, P = 0.07), lower CK median levels (459 vs 823, P = 0.06) and lower cellularity in the biopsy characterized by less CD68 + (68% vs 85%, P = 0.07) and CD45 + cells (64% vs 79%, P = 0.10) when compared with the anti-FHL1 – counterpart ( Supplementary Table S3 , available at Rheumatology online).
