In all drug-treated cortical cultures, the number of crossings proximal to the soma (< 100 μm) showed a trend for reduction as compared to controls, whereas the number of crossings of distal neurites (> 100 μm) showed a strong trend for an increase in branching as compared to controls (Fig. 3L-O ).
