Soil moisture exhibited an increasing trend with the rise in irrigation volume, with the W2, W3, and W4 treatments showing increases of 2.86%, 7.51%, and 8.71%, respectively, compared to W1 ( Figure 1 A).

Kranabetter [ 60 ] showed a slight trend of an increase in mineral soil C (until 50 cm depth) along a productivity gradient in Canadian boreal forests.
