In the literature

There was a larger rate of false non‐remissions predictions in women for the FEP model, although this did not quite reach statistical significance: the differences in model performance may therefore also be due to increased response rates in women, which is consistent with current literature, 52 leading to an unexpected better outcome.
In line with earlier population based studies, depression was diagnosed in health care more frequently among women, among those with the shortest unemployment period, among those who had made frequent visits to health care, and among non-manual workers [ 14 , 38 , 39 ], even the difference between non-manual workers and manual workers did not quite reach statistical significance.
82 , 97 Patients carrying desmosomal variants more often had RV LGE, although this did not quite reach statistical significance in the study by Segura-Rodriguez et al. 98 That study also showed that the p.Glu401Asp variant in DES (desmin) typically had a subepicardial circumferential pattern of LGE distribution, that was less commonly seen with other variants.
A high extent of reticulation on HRCT (Odds ratio [OR] 3.11, 95% Confidence interval [CI] 1.21–7.98, P = 0.019) and never smoking (OR 3.11, CI 1.12–8.63, P = 0.029) were associated with disease progression whereas platelet count (OR 2.06 per 100 units increase, CI 0.96–4.45, P = 0.065) did not quite reach statistical significance.
Moreover, the beneficial effect of FGF-21 in the protection of the articulation against OA development/progression in the adipsin-deficient mice could also be due to the fact that FGF-21 inhibits IL-6 [ 55 ]; an inflammatory factor that, although it did not quite reach statistical significance, showed a trend toward a lower serum level in the Df -/- than the Df +/+ mice in young mice, and was statistically different when compared to Df +/+ (L) mice.
