Differences between the standard of care arm and each treatment arm are not statistically significant in the crude model; facility-based care seeking is higher in the home visit arm relative to the standard of care arm in the adjusted model (adjusted 95 % CI: 0.77-71.5; p = 0.082), though the result is not quite significant at the 5 % level.
We found that absence of endothelial ICAM‐1 led to a slight but not quite significant reduction of the shear‐resistant arrest of CD8 + T cells on TNF‐α+IFN‐γ‐stimulated pMBMECs when compared to wild‐type (WT) pMBMECs from 45 ± 19 to 37 ± 12 cells per FOV and on TNF‐α‐stimulated pMBMECs from 33 ± 16 to 23 ± 6 cells per FOV (Supporting Information 4).
Of note, in the previously mentioned ASL perfusion study in hereditary CAA ( van Opstal et al., 2017 ), the areas of previous ICH were discarded from the analysis, and the difference in occipital perfusion between patients and controls was not quite significant after correction for multiple tests; the asymptomatic mutation carriers showed not even a trend for a difference with controls. 4.1.4 Additional points Heterogeneity in case-mix between the six diagnostic studies reported so far needs mentioning ( Table 1 ).
3 , 12 , 17 , 18 In a small pilot study we also observed that the LRRK2- p.Q1111H SNP, which is common in some Latin American populations, occurred at an increased frequency in PD patients, though the difference was not quite significant. 19 Thus, whether this variant represents a PD risk factor in Latino populations remains unclear.
