(2017) in ALSPAC cohort, there was no association in the adjusted models between prenatal blood lead levels and IQ results for 4- and 8-year-old children, in this same cohort the interaction between gender and blood lead was not significant in 4-year olds, while it appeared to be of borderline significance in 8-year-old children for verbal performance and total IQ score, and boys were more susceptible [ 24 ].
However, as the association between serum TAC and frailty was of borderline significance, our findings should be interpreted with caution and warrant further investigation in larger samples and in other populations.
Sixth, despite our extensive sensitivity analyses, the potential for residual horizontal pleiotropy cannot be fully excluded particularly for associations of borderline significance.
By immunohistochemistry, we also observed a reduction in the number of macrophages infiltrating both OCI-Ly1 and SUDHL6 tumors, but this was statistically significant only for SUDHL6 tumors, and only of borderline significance for OCI-Ly1 ( Figure 5 B).
There was a 1.6-point increase in the LCQ score for the ROF treated patients which was of borderline significance.
