Previous studies observed a decrease in respiratory tract cancer of borderline significance [ [7] , [8] , [9] ]. 2 Case report A 58 year-old-man was diagnosed with CF during childhood with gastrointestinal involvement, later confirmed with sweat chloride test and genetic study.

In the DCCT/EDIC, cIMT predicted decline in psychomotor speed over 18 years, but this association was of borderline significance after strict correction for multiple comparisons [ 5 ].

Similarly, the VEG group had a significantly lower HOMA-IR ( Table 2 ) and reduced risk for IR of borderline significance ( Table 3 ) compared to the non-VEG group after adjusting for age, menopause, waist, glucose, and triglyceride and activity with the exclusion of diabetic cases.

Inclusion of days symptomatic, while increasing the estimated duration of shedding, does not alter the relationship between duration and history of past RSV infection (although statistically of borderline significance).

Accordingly, both nuclear and cytoplasmic HJURP immunopositivity were correlated with worse DFS (log-rank test, p = 0.071 for nuclear, p = 0.019 for cytoplasmic Figure 5 ), the former association being of borderline significance.

Such an observation was also of borderline significance in the univariable analysis in a study by Nastoupil and colleagues considering patients treated with axi-cel [ 15 ].

In the present study, increased mortality from prostatic cancer was also of borderline significance, but only in women.

A high level of glucose exhibited a positive association of borderline significance with the adjusted HR for cancer diagnosis. 5.

However this difference was attenuated in the contralateral kidneys at latter time points while in the UUO groups the decrease of CCL2 mRNA in the Nov-/- was of borderline significance (Figure B in S1 File ).

The presence of rainy days was of borderline significance (OR = 0.57, 95% CI 0.31–1.07).

This was found to be of borderline significance.

Stratified analyses by racial and ethnic subgroups showed that the inverse association between intakes of phenolic acids and risk of BC was of borderline significance among NHB female individuals (HR 0.73; 95% CI: 0.53, 1.00; P -trend = 0.06) whereas tyrosols were significantly associated with increased risk of BC (HR 1.34; 95% CI: 1.03, 1.73; P -trend = 0.01) ( β = –0.07, P -interaction = 0.09 for phenolic acids; β = 0.05, P -interaction = 0.22 for tyrosols).

(2017) in ALSPAC cohort, there was no association in the adjusted models between prenatal blood lead levels and IQ results for 4- and 8-year-old children, in this same cohort the interaction between gender and blood lead was not significant in 4-year olds, while it appeared to be of borderline significance in 8-year-old children for verbal performance and total IQ score, and boys were more susceptible [ 24 ].

However, as the association between serum TAC and frailty was of borderline significance, our findings should be interpreted with caution and warrant further investigation in larger samples and in other populations.

Sixth, despite our extensive sensitivity analyses, the potential for residual horizontal pleiotropy cannot be fully excluded particularly for associations of borderline significance.

By immunohistochemistry, we also observed a reduction in the number of macrophages infiltrating both OCI-Ly1 and SUDHL6 tumors, but this was statistically significant only for SUDHL6 tumors, and only of borderline significance for OCI-Ly1 ( Figure 5 B).

There was a 1.6-point increase in the LCQ score for the ROF treated patients which was of borderline significance.
