Also, a significant difference in food intake was observed between the AG and UAG treated groups, while UAG noticeably reduced the appetitive response to AG when given in combination, although this effect only showed a trend ( Fig. 1 ; AG+UAG treatment, 4.1 g±0.56, p = 0.08).
In this trial, losartan 50 mg once daily did not prove superior efficacy as compared to captopril 50 mg three times daily and showed a trend towards higher incidence of sudden death or resuscitated cardiac arrest (HR: 1.25; 95% CI: 0.98–1.60; P = 0.08) [ 14 ].
T-ALL cases that co-expressed both genes showed a trend toward worse overall survival when compared with cases that expressed neither LMO2 or HHEX ( P = .08 , Log rank test).

In contrast with what had been observed in earlier-phase studies, no significant correlation was found between the detection of T-cell proliferative responses to either PA2024 or PAP and the overall survival of these patients (nor antibodies to PAP, although this showed a trend towards correlation with survival, P = 0.08).
Longer duration of sleep on actigraphy showed a trend for a correlation with higher scores on the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality (p = .08) but not on the Epworth Sleepiness Scale.

Subgroup analysis By contrast to tumours expressing only membranous CD9, the 23 tumours with both membranous and cytoplasmic staining showed a trend toward significant association with tumour stage ( P =0.08) (95% CI 3.5–86) and disease failure ( P =0.083) (95% CI −1.7–57), while the association with tumour grade (G1 vs G2–3) was less strong ( P =0.025 vs 0.0006) (95% CIs 11–68 vs 10–37).
