There were no statistically significant associations between PBDE serum levels and all‐cause or cause‐specific mortality, although an association of borderline significance ( p = 0.06) was noted between BDE‐153 and all‐cause mortality (HR = 1.07 per 1 SD unit increase in BDE‐153 , 95% CI: 1.00, 1.14).
