Similar to our findings in the whole skull, the vehicle-treated ColI(2.3) + /Rs1 + mice showed a trend toward an increase in BV/TV ( P = .06, Supplemental Figure S12A ) and Tb.Th ( P = .06, Supplemental Figure S12B ) between 3.5–4 and 4.5–5 wk.
Results were described as trending towards significance if P < .10, in order to highlight potentially interesting areas for future inquiry.
There was a trend toward similar findings in the mouse skulls, and although it did not reach statistical significance, this might have been due to the inability to appreciate changes in trabecular parameters at the standard imaging resolution.
