Overall, 17.5% (14/80) of the POI patients were affected compared to 6.7% (3/45) in the EM group; however, this difference did not reach statistical significance based on Fisher’s exact test ( p = 0.108).
The distribution of bone mineral density status in relation to time to diagnosis revealed a clear trend: among the patients diagnosed within 6 months of symptom onset, 18 (45.0%) had normal bone density, 18 (45.0%) had osteopenia, and only 3 (7.5%) were osteoporotic.
