In follow-ups longer than month 3, in our study population, mean changes in BCVA, PhNR and b-wave amplitudes did not reach statistical significance, while CMT showed a significant trend toward decrease over time (Friedman’s non-parametric ANOVA, p < 0.01, n = 14).
Nonetheless PhNR and b-wave amplitudes showed a trend toward improvement (as shown in Fig. 4 a, b).
These ERG positive changes tended to endure up to month 9–14, although they did not reach statistical significance after month 3.
