Herbicide Inhibition Through Artificial EPS In the first experiment we observed a positive correlation of the total EPS with the EC50-values (Figure 7A ), in the second experiment, a highly significant positive correlation between the mean EC50-values of N. palea biofilms toward Prometryn and the total artificial EPS-content was found with R 2 = 0.99 ( p < 0.01) (Figure 7B ).
Bacterial loads in all organs at 2 weeks post-infection were significantly higher than those at later time points (4, 6, and 8 weeks), with highly significant differences compared with the PBS control group (one-way ANOVA with Dunnett’s multiple comparisons test, ** p < 0.01 or *** p < 0.001).
The results showed that Alteinaria and Cladosporium had extremely significant differences ( P < 0.01) among the samples of S. alopecuroides in the 11 plots.
Analysis of variance revealed highly significant variation ( p < 0.01) among genotypes, including susceptible checks, for all APR-related parameters during both cropping seasons, 2020–21 and 2021–22 ( Supplementary Table S8 ).
**indicates a highly significant difference at p < 0.01. ***indicates a highly significant difference at p < 0.001.
Alpha diversity patterns of bacterioplankton according to the three states in regime shift ASV richness index, Shannon index, Simpson index, Pielou index, Chao1 index, and ACE index all exhibited a highly significant negative correlations with temperature (Spearman correlations: R = −0.546, p < 0.01 for ASV richness index; R = −0.674, p < 0.01 for Shannon index; R = −0.696, p < 0.01 for Simpson index; R = −0.709, p < 0.01 for Pielou index; R = −0.552, p < 0.01 for Chao1 index; R = −0.550, p < 0.01 for ACE index) ( Table 1 ).
The differences between groups were considered significant at P < 0.05 and extremely significant at P < 0.01.
The analysis revealed that all examined factors—breed, feeding regimen, and geographic location—exerted highly significant effects ( p < 0.01).
Moreover, compared with that in the non-inoculated control (17.6 ± 3.7 mg/L), a highly significant increase ( P < 0.01) in soluble phosphate (151.5 ± 6.3 mg/L) released into the medium by strain ZY16 was observed.
Only OTUs that displayed highly significant ( P < 0.01) associations with one tissue type were considered as indicator OTUs.
At the jointing stage, Proteobacteria, Acidobacteriota, and Myxococcota phyla had extremely significant differences ( p < 0.01), and Actinobacteriota phyla had significant differences ( p < 0.05).
This difference between these two groups was highly significant ( p < 0.01), possibly due to AR modeling altering the gut environment, leading to a decrease in the abundance of the original dominant microbiota and allowing external microbiota to colonize the gut more effectively.
The model was highly significant ( F = 34.05, p < 0.01).
For hydroxyl radical (-OH) scavenging capacity, the WIS32 fermentation supernatant demonstrated a highly significant advantage, with a clearance rate as high as 37.26% ± 2.15%, far exceeding that of LFG89 (7.23% ± 0.95%, p < 0.01).
However, the two combinations, NP + P and NP + P + L of SG10, caused a highly significant increase in FLuc activity compared with the native LaSota strain ( p < 0.01) ( Figure 6A ).
Additionally, the Index Diversity Test revealed significant or highly significant differences (0.0011 < P < 0.012) in species abundance and evenness (as represented by the Shannon index) between EpiF and EndF within the same decomposition period.
The correlation between OTU richness and latitude was weakly significant ( r = -0.3614, P = 0.0173) ( Figure 3 ).
And nitrogen fertilization rate showed a significant negative correlation with Chao1 ( R 2 = 0.051, p = 0.079) and a marginally significant negative correlation with richness ( R 2 = 0.141, p = 0.018).
However, we did observe a weakly significant anoxic response among shared families ( p = 0.02, chi-squared test; Supplementary Figure S2D ) and a strongly consistent anoxic response for shared OTUs ( Figure 4 ).
Notably, the predominance of OTU000018 increased during the experiment although the change was marginally significant ( p = 0.021). 3.6.
