This faster downregulation of PYL4 is particularly marked in Ortrugo cultivar, in which the highly significant increase in ripening parameters in both years suggests that the ripening process in this cultivar started much earlier than in the other cultivars in the berries after treatment.
Excerpts
In fact, after removing that population from analyses, the relationships between SLA, leaf thickness and N mass became significant or marginally significant and similar to the patterns observed in the greenhouse (Figure 4 ).
In this particular experiment, the bacterial titer in low CO 2 -grown plants showed a trend of reduced amounts compared to ambient-grown plants; in other experiments the difference between the two treatments was often found to be statistically significant ( Figures 3D,E , 5B and Supplementary Figure S2 ).
Unsurprisingly, most of the metabolites with no correlation showed an inconsistent profile among seasons (e.g., free OxA and citronellol, bound α-terpineol) or a decreasing trend along berry ripening (e.g., free HO-diendiol I + HO-trienol and bound OxB).
In conclusion, in the present study, we identified 42 SNP markers highly significant associated with salt-tolerance traits.
As compared to control, the sucrose content decreased at 20, 10 days before heading, and was observed an increasing trend at 20 days after heading.
a negative trendgold
australis , a negative trend with stomatal conductance was found and no correlation with leaf thickness.
Linear regressions of OM and the thermal intervals from all tissues across latitudes revealed that increased % OM content had a strong, highly significant positive relationship with higher latitudes (Adj.
There were marginally significant differences between temperate and tropical MMM predictions [ Pseudo-F (1, 15) = 3.03, P-perm = 0.052; Table 3 ], primarily due to higher carbohydrate content in the tropical samples and more protein in the temperate samples.
However, the data showed an increasing trend in both SOC and total N contents with NT soybean–maize rotation and intercropping compared with CT plots.
The results indicated that there was an increasing trend in O 2 – accumulation with prolonged PSD.
The interaction of light intensity and photoperiod can most clearly be seen between the high intensity 8 h trial and the low intensity 16 h trial, where both trials averaged almost identical light fluxes per day, and where the mean difference in flowering time of 12.6 days was highly significant.
Results Genetic Diversity and Population Divergence Myrceugenia correifolia showed a decreasing trend in genetic diversity southward ( Table 1 and Figure 2 ).
This was a highly significant QTL with a LOD peak value of 44.38 and PVE of 64.95%.
an obvious trendgold
Nonetheless, an obvious trend was observed that most of these ribosomal protein species (32/40, 80%) suffered a decrease in abundance from 100 to 200 mM NaCl treatment.
The expression of these genes in the RIT of ‘Royalty’ showed a slight decrease and then increased with rust development, whereas their expression levels followed an increasing trend in ‘Flame.’ The expression of McNCED, McACS , and McLOX in the NIT and CK showed a significant increase with the expansion of spots in the two cultivars.
The best-fit analysis reported in Figure 1 shows a highly significant exponential decay of Iso i with increasing g s ( Figure 1A ), because drought stress strongly enhances Iso i for g s < 200 mmol m -2 s -1 , whereas Iso i is unresponsive to higher g s .
antioxidants drought tolerance gas exchanges mesophyll conductance non-photochemical quenching photochemical efficiency stomatal conductance water use efficiency Gas Exchanges and Gene Expression Plants treated for 5 days with ANE (time 0) showed a partial stomatal closure, leading to a highly significant reduction (55%) of the stomatal conductance (g s ) ( Figure 2A ), associated with an equally strong decrease (53%) of the transpiration rate (E) ( Figure 2B ) compared to untreated plants.
In addition, two previously reported YR APR loci, QYr.ucw-3BS and Yr48 , were found to exhibit stable performances in rust environments in both Mexico and the United States and showed a highly significant interaction in the field.
QLr.cim-2DS and QLr.cim-3DC showed a marginally significant interaction for LR resistance in the adult plant stage.
A highly significant reduction in the expression of MtSOS1 occurred in the 10% PEG compared with the control treatment such that MtSOS1 transcripts were virtually undetectable, comparable to expression in leaf ( Figure 6A ).
The main effects of N treatment and harvest on belowground N mass were also highly significant.
An increasing trend of CAT and APX enzyme activities in the leaves of CL were observed from day 8 to day 15 ( Figures 8B,C ).
Furthermore, although the PS condition induced expression of the three Tr-KPI genes in the leaf tissue of Huia, in the root tissue only Tr-KPI5 was induced, where a significant increase at 53% and an increasing trend at 45.2 and 30.6% ( P -value 0.08 and 0.06, respectively) was observed when compared to the NPS treatment (Supplementary Figure 1D ).
In the PS treatment, a decreasing trend was observed for Tr-ACS1 and Tr-ACO2 while Tr-ACO1 displayed a significant increase at 30.6% moisture content (Supplementary Figure 2B ).
