While correlation coefficients relating to soil (or rather, dust fallout to soil) radioactivity show a clear trend (and effect) of humidity and hence that distance dependence increases with increasing dustability and increased fallout by drier weather conditions, the actual correlation factors describe a moderately negative correlation between soil radioactivity and distance from the radioactivity pollution source.
Thresholds of significance determined were p > 0.05 = not significant, p ≤ 0.05 = significant, p ≤ 0.01 = very significant, and p ≤ 0.001 = extremely significant. 3 Results The pH of soil collected from the Dumpsite was slightly acidic compared to those of Lagoon front and control station (Highrise) which were within the standard range of Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment ( CCME, 2001 ).
Meanwhile, a decreasing trend in the riverine dissolved silicate (DSi) flux was observed in recent few decades in the Changjiang River basin ( Dai et al., 2011 ; Ma et al., 2018 ), which could have a drastically impact on the biodiversity of primary production in the Changjiang estuary under the background of increasing nitrogen and phosphorus fluxes ( Liu et al., 2013 ; Zhou et al., 2017 ; Xiao et al., 2018 ).
The addition of NSQN & CSQN results in a more or less significant modification of slopes of the lines of the anodic (β a ) and cathodic (β c ) Tafel, this shows that these NSQN & CSQN affects the kinetics of the reduction reaction of the proton and the reaction of the dissolution of M-steel [ 20 , 21 ].
