Based on the AMOVA analysis the ‘Wild European and Cultivated’ versus the ‘Wild American’ comparison was highly significant (12.5% of the total variance), while no statistical significance was found between the ‘Wild European’ versus the ‘Wild American and Cultivated’ comparison.

However, the interaction was borderline significant when modelling LTPA as a continuous rather than a categorical variable, and subsequently testing the linear trend and effect estimates suggested a gradually increasing negative trend.

Minimum questing activity in summer We found a decreasing trend for the annual minimum questing activity during the summer season (1 June till 31 August) for all years between 1949 and 2099 ( Fig 7 ).

But the RTX effects described here are highly significant even with the low number of 9 rats, and profound RTX-mediated reduction in BOLD signal can even be found on subject-level in every single animal (see Fig 2 ).
